Aqua Trainer
Strength training and rehabilitation after injury. Walking against the water works the whole body, and both speed and water level are adjusted to the horse. Cold water cools joints and tendons at the same time.

training
Built for a long career.
CS Ranch runs a full-service training operation for Open and Non Pro reining horses. Each horse follows an individual program that respects its talent, mindset, and path, from a prospect's first steps in the pen to a seasoned competitor with championship goals.
A big heart, a strong, well-built body, and a healthy, willing mind come first. In every young horse we look for:
- A natural talent for reining maneuvers
- Work ethic and willingness to work
- Competitiveness at the highest level
showing
Proven in the show pen.
Gina Schumacher shows the ranch's homebred horses at the sport's major events. In 2023 she rode CS Sailing Gun, by Gunners Enterprise out of La Bigia Sailor, to the Level 4 Non Pro Championship at the 6666 Ranch NRHA Derby. Those results made Corinna Schumacher an NRHA Two Million Dollar Owner. She has since passed three million.

breeding & reproduction
Every pairing, considered.
Breeders come to CS Ranch for proven genetics and a program run with knowledge and integrity. Three XCS Ranch stallions stand at Oswood Stallion Station in Weatherford, Texas, and the broodmare band carries some of the strongest bloodlines in reining.
Reproductive specialist and breeding manager Emily Settle leads the reproductive services:
- Breeding management of mares
- Mare care and mare management
- Fertility evaluation of mares
- Embryo transfer and ICSI
- On-site foaling services
raising young horses
Raised together, raised right.
We take a holistic approach to raising horses. It is the best way we have found to bring along healthy, balanced sport horses.
Proper nutrition and exercise meet each horse's physical needs. Every young horse receives routine farrier and dental care, takes part in the spa program, and is always kept with other horses.
rehabilitation & spa
Recovery, done with precision.
The CS Ranch Spa & Rehabilitation Center supports both recovery and long-term wellness. Advanced technology works under expert oversight, with the same precision that runs through the rest of the ranch.
- Aqua-tread conditioning
- Therapeutic ultrasound
- Laser therapy
Working with trusted veterinarians, the team builds an individual rehabilitation plan for each horse, aimed at a full recovery and a confident return to performance.
wellness for your horse
Nine therapies. A plan for each horse.
Each modality is chosen to build strength, mobility, and resilience, for horses in rehabilitation and in full work.
Cold Saltwater Therapy
A drug-free hydrotherapy that helps prevent and treat lower leg injuries. Chilled saltwater removes heat and inflammation, reduces swelling, and increases mobility before and after competition.
Laser Therapy
Accelerates healing and improves the repair and remodeling of tissue. Used for wound healing, pain management, tendon and ligament injuries, and muscle tears.
Ultrasound Therapy
A noninvasive treatment. Sound waves penetrate soft tissue and increase blood flow, which can relieve pain, improve circulation, and promote healing.
Shock Wave Therapy
Short, intense sound waves are passed into damaged tissue. Blood flow increases, pain eases, and the body's own repair process is stimulated.
Sole Inhalation
Equine salt therapy in a calm, stress-free salt room. It reduces reliance on antibiotics and other medications.
Equusir Best Box
Combines modern technology with a holistic approach to body energies, built for modern performance management.
Niagara Equissage Pulse Blanket
Cycloidal vibration massage. A complementary therapy that supports, and never replaces, veterinary care.
Equusir Blanket
Used without medical training as a complement to a horse's necessary therapy, never in place of veterinary treatment.
Complementary therapies support veterinary care. They do not replace it.
